The Historic Penn Bay on the Cache River is a one of a kind property with 3 lodges on the banks of the Cache River. The opportunity to own a property like Penn Bay does not come along often. Penn Bay has exclusive access to thousands of acres of public ground with the closest public boat launch located 3 river miles to the north. Penn Bay borders Black Swamp WMA on the southern border, and the Cache NWR on the north, east, and west borders.
The diversity of duck hunting includes flooded green timber hunting, slough hunting, and wide open big spread hunting on the Cache River channel. In addition, this property provides year round recreational opportunities with outstanding trophy deer hunting, small game hunting, and crappie and flathead catfish fishing.
The amenities include 3 cabins, a new boat and equipment storage shed, 4 permanent duck blinds, and a large dock that extends out into Penn Bay. Just leave your boat hooked up to the dock, and head to your blind just a few minutes before legal shooting light.
The main clubhouse is 1,712 sq. ft. It includes a large kitchen, entertainment area with a fireplace, two bunk bed rooms with 8 beds, a laundry room, and a bathroom. The main clubhouse also has a large screened in porch, and a deck that extends into Penn Bay. Boats are tied up on the dock for easy access when you are ready to go to the woods.
There's also a newer 1,700 sq. ft. two-bedroom cabin. This cabin has two bedrooms, a loft with two beds, full kitchen, and one bathroom. This cabin also has a porch that overlooks Penn Bay.
The third lodge has 600 sq. ft., 4 bedrooms, and one full bathroom.
All of these living areas are fully furnished and turn key.
