Deer hunters, there aren’t many places you can harvest 5 trophy bucks on the same property. Between the two Arkansas tags, and three in Mississippi, you can chase trophy deer all season. You can also assign these trophy buck tags. This is a rare opportunity to purchase 5 equity memberships which allows unprecedented trophy deer hunting opportunities. For the trophy deer hunter this allows you the opportunity to harvest 5 trophy bucks, two in Arkansas and three in Mississippi. Jackson Point was named "Best Deer Hunting Club in Arkansas" by the Arkansas Game and Fish Commission in 2024 with 18 deer scoring over 140” Boone & Crockett during the 2023-2024 hunting season.
Turkey hunters, there are few places left in Arkansas that have a thriving turkey population. Jackson Point is one of those places. There are abundant wild turkeys offering ample spring turkey hunting opportunities. It's very common to see a flock each time you're riding around the property.
Duck hunters, Ham Lake is currently full of ducks and has duck hunting opportunities. There’s recent video available showing the large number of waterfowl on the property. In addition, it’s no secret that the Mississippi River oxbow lakes and overflow ground can have outstanding waterfowl hunting when the weather conditions are right. In addition, seasonal flooding of the Mississippi opens up numerous duck hunting locations.
Small game hunting opportunities appear to be endless. If you enjoy squirrel and rabbit hunting you will have more hunting than you have time. This property may have the largest concentration of black squirrels I’ve seen. Rabbit hunters, get the beagles ready!
For fishing, there’s nothing quite like crappie fishing in the Mississippi River oxbows. Mellwood Lake, a Mississippi River Oxbow lake, hugs the western edge of the property. In addition, Ham Lake is in the interior of the property and offers both fishing and duck hunting. One of the lodges overlooks Ham Lake on the high point of land the property is named for, Jackson Point. Bass fishing and catfishing opportunities.
For kids, there are miles upon miles of an improved trail system for atv and utv rides. In this current information age we’re in, this is a perfect place for you and your kids to unplug and get away from the busy lifestyle to spend time in nature. Remember, if you teach your kids how to hunt you won’t have to hunt your kids!
Amenities include a full-time caretaker, on-site internet, community well, a private airstrip, helipad, skinning rack with walk-in deer cooler, and a remote entry private gate. This can be as turnkey as you would like with the full time caretaker as well as house cleaning availability. The caretaker, who lives on site, is responsible for maintaining the roads and planting food plots.
