Ask Luke Cullins
One look at the aerial map and it's easy to see that the Mount Vernon 160 is a really diverse piece of hunting ground with several very positive attributes. For starters its just over 30 minutes from Conway, 40 or so from Searcy and about the same from Heber Springs. It's also protected from roads as well as the eyes and noise that comes with them. Water features are in abundance with its 4 ponds, 1 wet weather branch and Caney Creek swooping into the southeast corner of the property providing some live water.
The rolling topography is the canvas that the many fields, shooting lanes, cedar thickets and hardwood stands populate. Deer and turkey sign is evident nearly every where you look. The trails are easy to get around on and provide access to almost of all the property. They also double as great shooting lanes and help funnel the deer and turkey through the place.
Access is via deeded easement from the north to the northeast corner of the property. For those of you looking to stay close to Conway, Little Rock, etc. but enjoy some great hunting this is a fantastic opportunity.
