Here is a great farm to consider if you are wanting wildlife recreation and income. Big Creek Farm is located just east of Marvell and west of West Helena. It features easy county road access, farmer in place and a major creek.
Crooked Creek swings in on the SW corner of the property and holds water in a stand of tupelos and that water pushes into the lower portion of the field creating a natural duck hole. An old skid blind backed into the timber serves as evidence that birds likely use this flooded spot. It could be planted for waterfowl to increase its appeal.
Big Creek Farm is full of opportunity and its location keeps you close to modern conveniences that you are used to having. There is plenty of time to get closed on this one and start setting deer stands and figuring out where to put a duck blind.
