Large timber tracts are hard to come by in the delta of Craighead County, AR., especially in the middle of an even larger scope of woods. The Sunken Lands 407 is a rare find situated in the middle of a huge swath of timber on the eastern side of the county adjoining the St. Francis Sunken Lands WMA. The big timber presents a lot of hunting opportunity for trophy whitetail as well waterfowl. Jonesboro and Trumann are both a short drive away should you need a break from the woods.
