This farm is located south of McCrory on Hwy 260 East at the old community known as Bulltown. Situated between the Cache River and Bayou DeView, this property is in the bullseye for outstanding duck and deer hunting. With approximately 230 acres of crop production ground, this property offers much more than just income. Fed by Locust Slough, the timber is prime for duck, deer, and other wildlife habitat. The timber bottoms are very clean for easy tracking and maneuvering throughout. The low areas on the timber's edge offers great points for waterfowl food and hunting. Along the slough there is cover and vegetation for the deer to browse. There are several open areas and holes in the woods giving perfect locations for food plots, stands, and blinds. The levee around the timber is easily suited for water control structures/gates to help maintain water levels.
Across the highway to the south is a large private duck club and National Wildlife Refuge to the southeast.
Currently planted in soybeans, the farm is very impressive. Not a weed can be seen when looking out across the foliage of the crops.
